Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin used in skin care to temporarily reduce frown lines, smile lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines.

Botulinum toxin has been a cornerstone in anti-aging treatments for decades.

We offer Botox Cosmetic, and Xeomin.

These treatment work by preventing the nerve signals that cause facial muscle contractions thereby relaxing the facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles. Neurotoxin treatments are quick 10-minute treatments with minimal downtime and minimal side effects. Common side effects include temporary discomfort at injection sites. Desired results may be noticed as early as a few days post treatment and may last 3-6 months.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a FDA-approved to temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic reduces muscle contractions thereby relaxing the facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles.   

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A BOTOX® Cosmetic TREATMENT?

BOTOX® Cosmetic procedure is a quick, simple 10-minute treatment that requires no anesthesia and minimal downtime. Though most patients receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic report minimal discomfort.  BOTOX® Cosmetic is not a permanent treatment. For optimal results, regularly scheduled treatment every 3-4 months will aid in maintaining the desired results.  If you discontinue treatment the moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines will gradually return.

WHERE CAN BOTOX® COSMETIC BE USED IN THE SKIN?

BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are most commonly performed between your eyebrows, around the eyes (crow’s feet) and on the forehead.  Other treatment area options are also available. BOTOX® Cosmetic can also be used to reduce sweating in areas of overactive sweating such as the underarms.

HYPERHIDROSIS (Excessive Sweating)

Excessive sweating is a medical condition that involves overactive sweat glands. Botox can be used to treat hyperhidrosis or overactive sweating by blocking the signal that activates the overactive sweat glands.

XEOMIN®

Xeomin® is an FDA approved injectable neurotoxin used to treat frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles similar to Botox®.

What’s the difference between Botox and Xeomin?

Xeomin is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A, while Botox is composed of a complex mixture of proteins. Essentially, this means that Xeomin doesn't have any additives, while Botox does. This is often why Xeomin is nicknamed the “naked injectable.”
